Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Allen Chink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Joyce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Joyce!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chink.
Chink shoots and misses

and Joyce holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Chink goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Chink breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Joyce shoots in but no luck this time.
Chink gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Joyce counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Chink is trying hard to land a takedown here. Joyce sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Joyce can do anything to dispel that myth.

Joyce working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chink doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chink manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Chink wants to stand and escape but instead Joyce has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Allen Chink is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chink throws a left and a right that both miss
and Joyce counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Joyce pivots, looking for a leg kick but Chink is out of range and Joyce settles back down.

Chink takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Joyce throws a body punch but Chink moves out of range.

Joyce drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Joyce wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chink keeps working.

Chink takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Joyce shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chink manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joyce is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chink enables Joyce to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chink manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Joyce scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Chink has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Joyce is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chink is fighting to break Joyce's control of his arms but Joyce is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Allen Chink seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joyce throws a chopping leg kick but Chink manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Chink shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Joyce defends it nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Joyce tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Chink just stands there and leans against the cage.
Joyce wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Chink drops down looking for an ankle pick but Joyce pulls his leg out and moves away.

Joyce bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Chink takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Chink wants to control but Joyce postures up.
Joyce is chipping away with strikes.

Joyce decides to stand back up.
Joyce tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Joyce looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Joyce.

Chink shoots in for a double leg but Joyce sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Joyce closes the distance and pushes Chink back into the cage.
Ty Joyce is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Ty Joyce comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Joyce has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
