The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitsenbarger checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Theban blocks the body kick.
Pitsenbarger fakes the leg kick and cracks Theban in the body.
Pitsenbarger pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pitsenbarger moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Pitsenbarger with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pitsenbarger lets loose with a powerful body kick. Theban will feel that in the morning.
Theban looks gassed!
Pitsenbarger thuds his shin into the meat of Theban's side.
Theban takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Pitsenbarger lands a nice looking kick to the body. Theban takes a step back to recover.

It looks like Alcaeus Theban has been cut.
Pitsenbarger cracks the inside of Theban's front leg.
Pitsenbarger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Theban stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pitsenbarger.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pitsenbarger throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Pitsenbarger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Theban was well out of range. Poor timing from Pitsenbarger.
Theban takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Theban takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Theban steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pitsenbarger. That one must have hurt.
Pitsenbarger throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Theban's head.
Pitsenbarger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Pitsenbarger throws a sloppy head kick and Theban moves out of range easily.

Pitsenbarger lands a big head kick that sends Theban tumbling to the mat! Pitsenbarger takes a step backwards and waves Theban back to his feet - he wants the finish!

After the fight, Bill Pitsenbarger was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
