Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Diffie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hades Hug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hug has chosen Animal I Have Become as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diffie throws a nice looking combination but Hug bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hug thows a body kick. Diffie tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Hug thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Diffie if he has to take too many more of those.
Good leg kick by Hug there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hug thuds his shin into the meat of Diffie's side.

Hug throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Diffie stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Hug follows into mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Diffie fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Diffie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hug moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hug lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hug.

Diffie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hug.

Hug has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Diffie avoids a kick to the body.

Hug throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diffie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hug stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hug lands a front kick.

Nice combo by Hug! Oh, that's hurt him - Diffie falls to the canvas and Hug follows him into side control.

Diffie is rocked!

Hug decides to stand back up.
Oh Diffie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hug dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Diffie. That did some damage!
The fighters circle, before Hug throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Diffie's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hug lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

A less than humble Hades Hug misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
