Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Luca Brasi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Big Pump!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pump's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brasi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pump scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Big Pump has been cut.
Pump throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brasi counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pump's knee momentarily.
Brasi lands a big head kick that sends Pump tumbling to the mat! Brasi takes a step backwards and waves Pump back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pump is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brasi moves into range and clinches up with Pump.
Pump is still on wobbly legs! Can Brasi finish him?
Pump tries to score a body lock takedown but Brasi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Pump seems to have recovered his senses.
Pump is trying to pull guard but Brasi turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Brasi lands a body shot in the clinch.
Pump looks gassed!
Brasi is stalling here.
A short left from Brasi.
Brasi is working Pump over against the cage.
Brasi landing knees to the body.
Brasi lands with a short shot to the head.
That has opened up Big Pump's cut even more.
Brasi throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Brasi displaying some good clinch control by pressing Pump up against the cage.
Brasi scores with a shot to the side of Pump's head.
Brasi cracks Pump with a nice body shot.
A short uppercut from Brasi.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brasi dips a shoulder and cracks Pump with a mighty uppercut! Pump falls back against the cage and Brasi unloads with a barrage of strikes! Pump is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Brasi screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luca Brasi!
Luca Brasi bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
