The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Ferr counters with a crisp one two that drops Skarface! Ferr thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Skarface to his feet! Skarface is in big trouble!

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Ferr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Skarface. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ferr wants to stand and escape but Skarface is having none of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Skarface drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ferr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ferr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ferr!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ferr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Skarface has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ferr has managed to get both his arms back between Skarface's legs - danger averted.

Skarface's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ferr is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Skarface has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ferr is looking to defend but Skarface has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ferr! Skarface pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ferr taps out and this one is all over!
