Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Theodor Maresio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Malcolm MacKay!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Maresio does no damage.
Theodor Maresio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maresio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
MacKay looking to score a takedown here. Maresio is defending well but MacKay drives through and ends up in Maresio's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
MacKay connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MacKay wants to control from the top but Maresio keeps moving.
MacKay seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Maresio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for MacKay on the ground.
Maresio is breathing heavily.
MacKay slips nicely into half guard.
MacKay takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
MacKay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Maresio with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
MacKay thows a huge punch but Maresio dodges it nicely.

MacKay lands with a punch from half guard.

MacKay's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
MacKay wants to work for an arm triangle but Maresio is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

BOOM! MacKay connects with a massive shot to the dome!
