Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Reade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pj Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Darude- Sandstorm. Pj Benn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Reade. That's going to slow Benn down.
Reade tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Reade throws a quick inside leg kick.
Taylor Reade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benn shoots in looking for a takedown but Reade manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Benn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Reade stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Reade throws a leg kick

and Benn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Reade won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reade struggling a bit here.
Reade is trying to improve his position.
Reade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Benn on the ground.
Benn throws a strike aimed at the side of Reade's head but Reade avoids it well.
Sloppy strikes there by Benn.
Benn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Reade is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Benn's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Reade pushes Benn off looking to stand but Benn dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reade is controlling Benn's trapped leg to prevent Benn from advancing to side control.

Benn seems to be working for a kimura but Reade defends the submission attempt.
Reade is not content to let Benn control the position.

Reade is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Benn is looking to take a break and control but Reade is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reade trying to hold on to Benn's head to control him but Benn postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reade is not content to let Benn control the position.
Reade is looking to control Benn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reade avoid being mounted?

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Benn tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Benn ducks under a wild hook from Reade.
Reade fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Benn manages to avoid it.
Benn has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Reade.

Reade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reade dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Benn. That did some damage!

Reade pushes Benn away with a front kick.
Benn looks gassed!
Benn fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Reade throws a head kick that misses.
Benn tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Benn shoots in for a takedown but Reade shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Taylor Reade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pj Benn.
Reade fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reade stuffs the takedown.
Reade throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Horrible takedown by Benn or perhaps it was just good defense by Reade which made him look bad.

Benn shoots for a takedown but Reade saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Reade. That's going to slow Benn down.
Reade lands with a nice body punch.
Nice uppercut lands for Reade. That snapped Benn's head back.
Reade tries a head kick but it misses.
Reade thuds a left hand into Benn's body.
Reade connects with a solid leg kick.
Reade lands with a kick to the temple. Benn shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Reade scores with a hook to the body. Benn takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Reade throws a sloppy head kick and Benn moves out of range easily.
Taylor Reade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Reade.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taylor Reade dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pj Benn's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Benn shoots in for a takedown but Reade shows good takedown defense.

Reade scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reade drops Benn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Benn looks back up at him and smiles so Reade waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Benn is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Reade uses the oldest trick in the book to send Benn tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Reade is absolutely delighted - when Benn wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
