The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ziemski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Beetle tries a head kick but it misses.
Beetle stuffs the takedown.

Beetle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ziemski napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Beetle wants to control but Ziemski is keeping him busy.
Ziemski dodges the ground and pound from Beetle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ziemski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Beetle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ziemski manages to work his way to half guard, despite Beetle's best efforts.

Ziemski has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Beetle escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Beetle!
Beetle is looking to take a break and control but Ziemski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ziemski has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Beetle has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
