Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Northwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hathaway misses with a few strikes there.
Hathaway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Northwood shoots for a double leg takedown but Hathaway sprawls well. He's pushed Northwood's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Northwood tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Northwood has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Oh Northwood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hathaway stalks Northwood and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Northwood's face. Northwood staggers backwards, shaken.
Hathaway is pawing at Northwood, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Northwood's nose. Northwood is badly hurt! Hathaway pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Northwood tries desperately to hold on but Hathaway is relentless in his assault! As Northwood receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Hathaway away and this one is in the books!
