The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nestle doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bamboni holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bamboni scores with a knee to the head.
Bamboni's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bamboni pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Nestle has Bamboni pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bamboni manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bamboni gets underhooks to prevent Nestle's takedown attempt.

Nestle changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bamboni fights it off and pushes away nicely.
