The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redhair misses the jab.
Redhair stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McDermot.
McDermot scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McDermot keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Redhair's jab looks to have found its range, popping McDermot under the eye.
Redhair misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McDermot throws a series of punches but Redhair avoids them all with ease.
McDermot thuds a left hand into Redhair's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Redhair is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McDermot.
Redhair misses with a low kick as McDermot jumps back.
Redhair swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and McDermot counters with a crisp one two that drops Redhair! McDermot thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Redhair to his feet! Redhair is in big trouble!

Redhair is rocked!
Redhair is looking to clinch.
Oh Redhair is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Redhair ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McDermot moves away.
McDermot scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Redhair doesn't seem bothered though.
Redhair seems to have got his legs back now.
Redhair is breathing heavily.
McDermot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Redhair moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McDermot ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

McDermot throws a nice outside leg kick.

McDermot cracks Redhair with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McDermot has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Redhair to stand back up!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McDermot lands a nice looking body shot.
McDermot looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McDermot jabs Redhair to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McDermot connects with a jab.
McDermot is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Redhair rather than just go for the knockout.

McDermot lands a right hook to the body.

McDermot cracks Redhair with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Redhair looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can McDermot finish him?
McDermot walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Redhair drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! McDermot swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Redhair's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
