The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jussila postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Max is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jussila, into his guard.

Jussila had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Max is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jussila Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Max's back instead.

Jussila is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jussila is on top in guard.

Max might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Jussila creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Max sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Jussila is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Max has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jussila decides to stand back up. Jussila steps back and let's Max get back to his feet.

Max drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Max wants to control from the top but Jussila keeps moving.

Jussila working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Max doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Max manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Max gets to his feet. Jussila looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

I would just about give that final round to Scott Max.
I think Max has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
