Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Tupper Vi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iglig Bloodrock!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bloodrock instigates a clinch.
Bloodrock pushes Tupper Vi back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Bloodrock turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Bloodrock prevents Tupper Vi from escaping the position.
Tupper Vi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bloodrock wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bloodrock is chipping away with strikes.
Tupper Vi is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Tupper Vi can't do much from the bottom here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tupper Vi is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Bloodrock landing strikes.
Bloodrock lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tupper Vi down.
Bloodrock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tupper Vi keeps working.
Bloodrock lands an elbow.
Bloodrock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tupper Vi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tupper Vi stops Bloodrock from passing to mount.
Tupper Vi can't do much from the bottom here.

Bloodrock goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tupper Vi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bloodrock's guard! Nice work there by Tupper Vi!

Bloodrock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tupper Vi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tupper Vi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bloodrock is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bloodrock tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tupper Vi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bloodrock's head.

Bloodrock is looking for a triangle here but Tupper Vi uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bloodrock tries to improve position but can't.

Tupper Vi tries to stand but Bloodrock is controlling his head.
Bloodrock tries to buck Tupper Vi off but Tupper Vi is having none of it.
Bloodrock gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bloodrock looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Tupper Vi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bloodrock is looking to get back to full guard here but Tupper Vi has managed to pass to side control instead.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bloodrock manages to get back to half guard.
Tupper Vi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bloodrock is trying to get back to full guard.
Bloodrock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tupper Vi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tupper Vi's back!
Tupper Vi is trying to stand back up.

Bloodrock is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Tupper Vi has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Tupper Vi has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Bloodrock.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bloodrock is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Bloodrock gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Bloodrock gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Bloodrock apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Tupper Vi tries to clinch up.

Bloodrock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Tupper Vi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bloodrock wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bloodrock looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Tupper Vi is avoiding damage well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bloodrock tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Tupper Vi regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iglig Bloodrock dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Bloodrock blocks a head kick by Tupper Vi.
Tupper Vi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Bloodrock finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Tupper Vi is looking to land body kicks.

Bloodrock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tupper Vi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bloodrock tries to advance position but instead Tupper Vi slips a leg back in to half guard.

Tupper Vi is defending against the submission attempts here by Bloodrock.
Tupper Vi tries to kick Bloodrock off but Bloodrock keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bloodrock is trying to control the action in half guard but Tupper Vi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bloodrock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tupper Vi wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bloodrock thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tupper Vi's head.

Bloodrock wants to work for an arm triangle but Tupper Vi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tupper Vi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bloodrock's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bloodrock's back!
You can see the frustration on Bloodrock's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Bloodrock turns into Tupper Vi and is now in his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bloodrock wants to control from the top but Tupper Vi keeps moving.

Bloodrock drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tupper Vi dives on top into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Bloodrock looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Tupper Vi has picked Bloodrock up and slammed him! Bloodrock can't keep hold of the triangle and Tupper Vi manages to pass to side control!

Tupper Vi is working to tighten is grip on Bloodrock's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bloodrock has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tupper Vi is really squeezing tight and eventually Bloodrock passes out! Tupper Vi breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bobby Tupper Vi!
