Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pj Benn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munoz rushes Benn and presses him up against the cage.

Munoz has clasped his hands together around Benn's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Benn jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Munoz is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Munoz and Benn has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Munoz is staying active underneath Benn, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Benn is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Munoz sees it coming and defends easily.

Benn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Munoz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Munoz has picked Benn up - he's going for a ride! Munoz dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Munoz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Benn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Munoz connects with a nice short shot to Benn's temple.

Munoz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Benn is just riding it out for now. Munoz eventually gives up the hold.
Benn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Munoz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Munoz's back!

Munoz manages to stand up with Benn still on his back. Eventually Benn drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
Munoz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Benn backs up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Munoz wants to take the fight to the mat but Benn manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Benn turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Benn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Munoz keeps working.
Munoz holds on to Benn's head and controls the position momentarily.

Benn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Benn advances nicely into full mount.

Benn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Munoz kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Benn is looking to stand but Benn has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Benn can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Munoz is looking to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Munoz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
