Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Larry Shaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Walter!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw closes the distance and clinches up with Walter, looking for a takedown. Shaw pushes Walter against the cage but Walter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Walter feints a jab promting Shaw to slip. Walter then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shaw slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Shaw. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Walter thuds a left hand into Shaw's body.
Walter throws a right hand that Shaw ducks under and follows up with a left that Shaw also avoids with ease.

Shaw walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Walter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Walter is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Shaw had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shaw has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Walter lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Walter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shaw doesn't seem bothered though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jeez, Larry Shaw's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Shaw changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walter tries to avoid it but Shaw manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walter to the ground. Walter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Martin Walter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
