Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Didi Jarven!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rood uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Jarven tries to keep at a distance but Rood has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rood looking for a takedown.
Jarven has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rood avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Rood wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jarven can't get the takedown.
Rood stops a takedown attempt from Jarven.
Liam Rood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Didi Jarven.
Jarven is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rood pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Rood breaks the clinch.

Rood darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Jarven is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rood pulls his head out easily.

Rood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jarven on the ground.
Rood would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Jarven keeping moving, preventing Rood from controlling successfully.

Liam Rood has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Rood shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jarven as he avoids it easily.

Rood doesn't manage to clinch there - Jarven circles away.
Rood shoots in and drives through. Jarven sprawls well.
Rood is breathing heavily.
Rood keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jarven fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rood avoids it really well and circles away.
Jarven shoots in for a takedown but Rood shows good takedown defense.
No joy there for Rood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rood looks to land a combination but Jarven avoids it well.

Jarven drives through with a takedown into Rood's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Jarven passes Rood's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rood looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rood has a hand on Jarven's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Jarven takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jarven forces the positional change into back control.
Jarven trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Rood won't enjoy being in this position. Jarven looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Rood is tapping - it's over boys! Jarven picks up the submission victory!
