Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hojo Yoijimbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoijimbo comes to the cage accompanied by Them Crooked Vultures - Elephants. Bruno Xavier is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier misses with a few strikes there.
Xavier scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Hojo Yoijimbo has been cut.
Xavier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yoijimbo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Xavier drops his shoulder and cracks Yoijimbo with a huge uppercut! Yoijimbo goes down! Can Xavier finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Yoijimbo controls Xavier momentarily but Xavier frees himself.
Yoijimbo has a closed guard, preventing Xavier from standing up.
Xavier decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Xavier catches Yoijimbo napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Yoijimbo to the canvas!
Xavier wants to stand and escape but instead Yoijimbo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yoijimbo wants to pass the guard but Xavier is keeping the position.
Yoijimbo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Xavier, up you get!
Yoijimbo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Xavier looks to land a combination but Yoijimbo avoids it well.
Yoijimbo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Xavier misses with a jab, cross combination.
Yoijimbo slips under a jab from Xavier.
Xavier drops Yoijimbo with a big left hand and mounts him. Yoijimbo is in big trouble!
Yoijimbo is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Xavier is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Oh Yoijimbo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yoijimbo walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Xavier swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bruno Xavier!
