The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ramalho looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ramalho shoots in and drives through. Ghat sprawls well.
Ramalho swats away the attempt to clinch by Ghat.

Ghat gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ramalho is looking for a sweep. Ghat is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Ramalho moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Ramalho wants to sweep here but Ghat controlling him for the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ramalho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ghat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ghat passes into half guard.

Ramalho moves into full guard.

Ramalho is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ghat is aware though and is defending well.
Ghat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ramalho lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ghat!

Ramalho jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ghat is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ghat and Ramalho has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ramalho is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ghat is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ramalho tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ramalho is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ghat defends well.

Ghat shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ghat was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ramalho is trying desperately to improve position.
Ramalho sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Ramalho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ghat doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ramalho is tightening it up a little... Ghat has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ghat reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ghat taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ramalho!
