The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar looks to score with a jab to the body but Guderian is just out of range.
Salazar shoots in for a takedown but Guderian shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salazar misses with a straight left.
Heinz Guderian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salazar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Guderian falls off balance throwing a combination

and Salazar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Guderian's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Salazar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Guderian on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Guderian tries to get out of the position.

Guderian knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Salazar on the ground.
