Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sanji Cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butch Williams!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a straight right.
Williams throws a wild body kick that Cook sees coming a mile off.

Cook clinches up with Williams and pushes him back against the cage.
Cook pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Williams tries to pull guard but Cook won't allow it.
Cook misses with an elbow over the top.
Williams on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Cook tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Cook is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Williams is trying to drag Cook to the mat but Cook just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Cook landing knees to the head.
Cook stops a takedown attempt from Williams.
Sanji Cook has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Butch Williams.
Cook struggles to land a body shot inside as Williams controls his hands.
Cook scores with a knee to the head.
Cook lands a good knee to the midsection. Williams won't want to take too many of those.
Williams looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Williams dodges an elbow strike from Cook.
Williams is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Cook to keep the fight standing.

Cook lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Cook throws an elbow but it misses.
Williams is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cook gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Cook lands an elbow inside that Williams shrugs off.
Cook utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Williams avoids the elbow strike from Cook, against the cage.
Cook with a knee to the head.
Cook tries to land knees in the clinch but Williams avoids the damage to the body.
Cook unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cook comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Cook.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Cook obliges.
Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cook walks away with a smile on his face. Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cook throws a head kick that half lands.


Williams is rocked!
Cook connects with a solid leg kick.
Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Cook finish him?
Cook lands a brutal head kick. Williams looks out on his feet and Cook throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Sanji Cook!
A very excited looking Sanji Cook made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
