The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lokki throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A looping hook to the body misses from Couture. Lokki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Couture moves out of range of the body kick from Lokki.
Lokki lands with a kick to the temple. Couture shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Good leg kick by Lokki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lokki lands a head kick. Couture smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Couture on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The fighters circle, before Lokki throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Couture's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Lokki lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
