The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berto Jr lunges at Gracie with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gracie's hand.
Berto Jr delivers a nice body kick.
Berto Jr is looking to slow Gracie down with leg kicks.
Berto Jr cracks Gracie with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Berto Jr has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gracie to stand back up!
Gracie is rocked!
It looks like Rulian Gracie has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Berto Jr finds Gracie's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Gracie flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Berto Jr lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Gracie will be OK.
