The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoover pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ottavainen slips under a jab.
Hoover shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hoover goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hoover throws a head kick but Ottavainen moves out of range.
Hoover on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Ryan Hoover has been cut.
Ottavainen misses with a series of wild punches.
Ottavainen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A right-left combo lands from Hoover.
Hoover feints a jab promting Ottavainen to slip. Hoover then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ottavainen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ottavainen scores with a nice body kick.
