The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loxo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Masatupo manages to avoid it.
Loxo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck for Masatupo with that takedown attempt.
Masatupo shoots in for a takedown but Loxo shows good takedown defense.
Loxo misses with a double jab

and Masatupo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Loxo's guard.

Loxo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Masatupo stacks Loxo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Masatupo!

Masatupo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Loxo as he jumps to the side.

Masatupo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Loxo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Masatupo somewhat.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Oh Masatupo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Loxo jerks Masatupo's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Masatupo drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Loxo goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Loxo because Masatupo was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
