Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rylan Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Ty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gardner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Goodtimes. Mickey Ty is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ty misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ty connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gardner's hands.
Ty ducks under a wild hook from Gardner.
Gardner thows a body shot but no joy.
Ty throws a nice looking combination but Gardner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ty is looking to clinch but Gardner is avoiding it.
Ty uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gardner.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ty.
Gardner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ty tries to clinch but Gardner is having none of it.
Gardner blocks a head kick by Ty.
Gardner with a jab.
Ty throws a body kick that misses.
Ty fails to land with a series of punches.
Gardner throws a big shot that misses.

Ty fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gardner sprawls well initially but Ty persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gardner is pressing down on Ty's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Gardner pulls Ty in close to prevent any damage.
Gardner wants to sweep here but Ty controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gardner is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Ty must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ty trying to control the position from guard on top but Gardner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mickey Ty has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Ty throws a left and a right that both miss

and Gardner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ty's guard now.
Gardner advances to half guard.
Gardner slows the pace down in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gardner working over Ty with some ground and pound. Ty looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Gardner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ty with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gardner throwing shots but Ty is blocking nicely.
Ty is trying to control but Gardner manages to pass to mount!
The referee warns Ty that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gardner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like Mickey Ty has been cut.
A nice elbow there by Gardner.
Ty takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Gardner's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
