Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zz Top (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Braida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braida has chosen Here I am as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zz Top!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Braida!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Braida. No joy for Top on that attempt.
Top misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Braida closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Top quickly recovers to half guard.
Top blocking the ground and pound attempt from Braida.
Braida has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Braida looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Top with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Top looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Top tries to roll over but Braida keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Braida is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Top is looking to control Braida's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Top avoid being mounted?
Braida throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Braida is trying to control the action in half guard but Top is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Braida blocks the strikes from Top.

Braida winds up and cracks Top with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Top moves into full guard.
Top looking for a sweep. Not yet Top, not yet.
Braida chips away with some ground and pound.
Top trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Top has momentary wrist control but Braida slips an elbow through the middle.

Top is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Braida defends well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Braida got a little sloppy there for a moment and Top has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Braida has managed to get both his arms back between Top's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Braida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Top swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Top is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Braida postures up and lands a big shot to Top's brow.

Top is rocked!
Braida works over Top with some ground and pound from guard.
Oh Top is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Top has momentary wrist control but Braida slips an elbow through the middle.
Braida distracts Top with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Braida loads up on a big left hand. Top felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Braida looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Top can't hide his disappointment, as Braida celebrates the victory.
