The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Deveraux takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lawson just misses with a punch to the body.
Good leg kick by Deveraux there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lawson lunges at Deveraux with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Deveraux's hand.

Deveraux tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lawson was well out of range. Poor timing from Deveraux.

Lawson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Deveraux fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lawson avoids it really well and circles away.
Lawson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Deveraux will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Deveraux fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lawson on the side of the head.
Lawson drops Deveraux with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lawson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
