Diggler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by KEEP IT MOVIN. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!This should be fireworks!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dirk Diggler!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proudstar tries to close the distance and clinch but Diggler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Proudstar with a poor takedown
and Diggler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Proudstar.
Proudstar takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nice body kick there by Diggler.
Proudstar shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Proudstar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A shot to the liver by Diggler. Beautiful body shot.
Proudstar throws a shot from downtown. Diggler moves away and avoids it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Diggler.
James Proudstar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No joy there for Diggler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diggler lands a right hook to the body.
Proudstar is breathing heavily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Diggler, right into the meat.
Diggler stuffs the takedown attempt from Proudstar. Proudstar gets slowly back to his feet.
Diggler scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Proudstar doesn't seem bothered though.

Proudstar takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Proudstar takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dirk Diggler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Proudstar takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Proudstar sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Diggler lands a big head kick that sends Proudstar tumbling to the mat! Diggler takes a step backwards and waves Proudstar back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Proudstar is rocked!
and Diggler counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Proudstar! He's just covering up as Diggler starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirk Diggler! Dirk Diggler retains his light heavyweight title!
Dirk Diggler really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Convicted Trap House logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
