The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahara throws a low kick, looking for Martin's leg but Martin calmly moves out of range.
Martin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Takahara as he jumps to the side.
Martin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Takahara moves into the clinch successfully.
Takahara misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Martin.

Martin tries to circle away but Takahara has him pinned against the cage.
