Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Santos Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Ness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ness has chosen 2Pac - Untouchable/Paper Airplanes Remix as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ness lunges at Santos Jr with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Santos Jr's hand.
Santos Jr looks for a takedown but Ness sprawls well.
Santos Jr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Santos Jr dives in and grabs Ness's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ness pushes down on Santos Jr's head and hops out.
Larry Ness seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ness misses with a double jab.
Santos Jr tries for a takedown but Ness sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mauricio Santos Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ness scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Santos Jr takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ness. Santos Jr does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ness thuds his right hand into Santos Jr's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Oh Santos Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Santos Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ness.
Santos Jr seems to have got his legs back now.
Santos Jr shoots in for a double leg but Ness sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Santos Jr misses with a takedown
and Ness counters with a straight right hand.

Horrible takedown by Ness or perhaps it was just good defense by Santos Jr which made him look bad.
Ness throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Santos Jr on the side of the head.
Ness scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ness with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Santos Jr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ness sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ness misses with a two punch combination.
Ness leaves Santos Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Santos Jr.
Santos Jr is breathing heavily.
Ness throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Santos Jr crashing down! Santos Jr tries to stagger back to his feet but Ness just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Santos Jr asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
