Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilford Pure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Hoodrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoodrich has chosen Like A Pimp as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ace Hoodrich enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pure gets caught napping as Hoodrich dives in and scores a takedown. Pure manages to retain guard.

Pure had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hoodrich defends it easily.
Hoodrich throws a strike but Pure rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hoodrich tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pure lands a couple of elbows.
Hoodrich wants to stand up but Pure is controlling him.
Pure is looking to work some ground and pound but Hoodrich has wrist control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pure working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hoodrich doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hoodrich manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
