Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean ORiordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ORiordan has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Nikolai Volkov had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov looks for the body kick but ORiordan saw that one coming.
ORiordan swinging wildly here.

ORiordan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Volkov missing with a left hand there. ORiordan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
ORiordan avoids the body shot from Volkov.
Volkov throws a nice looking combination but ORiordan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Volkov misses with an uppercut. ORiordan saw that one coming.
Volkov throws a looping overhand right but ORiordan ducks down to avoid it.

ORiordan tries to move into range but Volkov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Volkov throws a solid leg kick but ORiordan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Volkov.

ORiordan takes a swing at Volkov's ribcage but misses.
Volkov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A lazy left from Volkov finds it's target.
Volkov throws an overhand right that lands on ORiordan's shoulder, as ORiordan tries to avoid the shot.
ORiordan avoids the body shot from Volkov.
ORiordan blocks a jab.
Volkov misses with a low kick as ORiordan jumps back.
Volkov thuds his right hand into ORiordan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Volkov is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Volkov throws a hook but ORiordan blocks it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Volkov. ORiordan does a little dance to reset his feet.
ORiordan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

ORiordan takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Volkov jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Volkov throws a jab when ORiordan was well out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Volkov.
ORiordan is breathing heavily.
Volkov punishes ORiordan's body with a nice straight punch.

ORiordan needs to keep his hands up - Volkov had a free shot at his head there.
Nice uppercut lands for Volkov. That snapped ORiordan's head back.
Volkov staying out of range there.
Volkov misses the shot to the body.
ORiordan ducks right into an uppercut from Volkov.
Volkov stuns ORiordan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Volkov misses the jab.
Volkov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent ORiordan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Volkov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that ORiordan can do to turn this around?
Volkov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Volkov drops ORiordan with a big left hand! ORiordan is injured, injured bad! Volkov jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Nikolai Volkov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
