Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Pilgrim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Maradona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Scott Pilgrim has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilgrim lands a leg kick that knocks Maradona off balance momentarily.
Some wild striking there from Maradona.
Maradona blocks a head kick by Pilgrim .
Maradona throws a looping overhand right but Pilgrim ducks down to avoid it.
Maradona jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Maradona swats away the attempt to clinch by Pilgrim .
Pilgrim throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Maradona thuds his right hand into Pilgrim 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Maradona blocks the body kick.
Pilgrim throws a head kick but Maradona moves out of range.
Pilgrim throws a chopping leg kick but Maradona manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pilgrim .
Some bone on bone action there as Maradona checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Maradona closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pilgrim quickly recovers to half guard.
Maradona content to control rather than advance.
Maradona not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Maradona landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Pilgrim tries to roll over but Maradona keeps him under control.
Maradona looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maradona looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pilgrim with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pilgrim on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Pilgrim on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pilgrim tries to get out of the position.
Maradona seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Pilgrim knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maradona on the ground.
Pilgrim is breathing heavily.

Pilgrim is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Maradona thows a huge punch but Pilgrim dodges it nicely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Maradona takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Maradona looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Maradona dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Maradona misses with a looping left.
The fighters circle momentarily. Maradona darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pilgrim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pilgrim will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Maradona. Pilgrim does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pilgrim turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Maradona looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Maradona missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Maradona throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Pilgrim wants to get back to full guard.

Maradona passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pilgrim !
Diego Maradona has got the better of the ground game so far.

Pilgrim seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Maradona fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Maradona looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Pilgrim covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
