Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cris Dupont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dylan Phillips will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dupont scores with a takedown into Phillips's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Phillips trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Phillips is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dupont is controlling him.
Phillips really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dupont. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Phillips is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dupont is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dupont postures up.
Dupont controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Dupont might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cris Dupont has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Dupont dives in and grabs Phillips's left leg, looking for a takedown. Phillips pushes down on Dupont's head and hops out.

Phillips lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Dupont fails with the takedown.
Dupont gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Phillips.

Phillips clobbers Dupont with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dupont shoots in for a double leg but Phillips sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dupont is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Phillips's half guard.

Phillips paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Phillips is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dupont is breathing heavily.
Phillips lands a jab to Dupont's midsection.
Dupont will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Phillips stuns Dupont with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Cris Dupont will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No joy there for Phillips, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dupont fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Phillips avoids it really well and circles away.
Phillips bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dupont's head.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dupont's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Phillips connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dupont scrambles back to his feet.

Phillips scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dupont doesn't seem bothered though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Dupont's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Dupont looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Dupont shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Phillips's guard.
Phillips controls Dupont momentarily but Dupont frees himself.
Dupont not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Phillips is looking to stand up but Dupont isn't so interested in that idea.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Phillips can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dupont controls the pace.

Phillips feints a jab promting Dupont to slip. Phillips then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dupont slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Dupont shoots in for a takedown but Phillips shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
