Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Ohlrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qwis Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ohlrich might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Biz Markie's- Just a Friend. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rey's choice of entrance music: It's Raining Men . Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Ohlrich!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Qwis Rey!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohlrich shoots in for a double leg but Rey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rey looks to land a right hand but Ohlrich moved out of range.
Rey tries for a takedown but Ohlrich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Rey clinches.
Ohlrich gets underhooks to prevent Rey's takedown attempt.
Ohlrich stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Ohlrich turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ohlrich manages to end up in side control.

Ohlrich lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Ohlrich.
Ohlrich wants to control but Rey is keeping busy.
Ohlrich is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Rey up.
Ohlrich lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Ohlrich is persistently looking for the submission but Rey is defending it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rey takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Rey covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Ohlrich is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rey has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Ohlrich has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Rey has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Ohlrich is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Rey up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ohlrich lands a shot to the body.

Ohlrich is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Ohlrich gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Ohlrich gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Ohlrich apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Nice shot lands for Ohlrich.


It looks like Qwis Rey has been cut.
Good leg kick by Ohlrich there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ohlrich lands with a nice combination. Rey backs away looking to recover.

Ohlrich shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ohlrich showed some decent athleticism there.
Ohlrich with the ground and pound but Rey uses the opportunity to regain guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ohlrich thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ohlrich throws a strike but Rey avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rey misses with a combination
and Ohlrich makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rey throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ohlrich counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rey is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Rey walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rey looks to land a combination but Ohlrich avoids it well.

and Ohlrich counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rey's guard now.

Rey is trying to stand.
Rey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ohlrich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ohlrich cracks Rey with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rey is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Ohlrich jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rey is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rey and Ohlrich has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ohlrich swings around for an armbar but Rey sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ohlrich's guard.

Rey has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ohlrich is proving hard to escape from.

Rey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ohlrich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ohlrich digs a right hand underneath Rey's ribcage. Rey let out a lung full of air as it connected.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Ohlrich is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rey can't fight it off and eventually Ohlrich manages to take the fight to the floor. Rey looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

BOOM! Ohlrich connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ohlrich is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rey has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rey!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Qwis Rey's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Qwis Rey's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
