Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Mastadon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvarez comes to the cage accompanied by Filter - Hey man, nice shot.. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mastadon swats away the attempt to clinch by Alvarez.
Alvarez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Alvarez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mastadon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alvarez tries to avoid it but Mastadon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alvarez to the ground. Alvarez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mastadon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Alvarez is trying to get back to half guard.
Mastadon tries to advance to mount but Alvarez denies him.
You can see the frustration on Alvarez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Alvarez seems a little lost for a moment, as Mastadon dominates the positioning.
Mastadon wants to control for a moment but Alvarez uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Mastadon is keen to just control but Alvarez is a slippery customer.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Donald Mastadon hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mastadon throws a wild hook but Alvarez just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Mastadon gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Alvarez raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thiago Alvarez!
