Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pauly Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Plamen Todorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Pauly Dee has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Todorov scores with a takedown into Dee's guard.

Todorov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Todorov, into his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dee connects with a nice short shot to Todorov's temple.
Dee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Todorov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dee is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Todorov is staying active underneath Dee, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Pauly Dee will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Dee closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Todorov quickly recovers to half guard.
Dee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Todorov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
