Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mongo Mongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zork Nemesis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nemesis has chosen Zork Nemesis as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mongo Mongo!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zork Nemesis!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mongo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A head kick misses from Mongo.
Nemesis lands with a nice body punch.
Mongo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nemesis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mongo was well out of range. Poor timing from Nemesis.
Mongo closes the distance and clinches.
Nemesis tries to circle away but Mongo has him pinned against the ropes.
Nemesis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nemesis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mongo circles away quickly and effectively.
Mongo wants to clinch up but Nemesis keeps it at a distance.
Mongo tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Nemesis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nemesis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mongo moves away.
Nemesis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nice combo by Nemesis! Oh, that's hurt him - Mongo falls to the canvas and Nemesis follows him into side control.
It looks like Mongo Mongo has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Mongo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Mongo tries to buck Nemesis off but Nemesis is having none of it.
Nemesis misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mongo looks to move to half guard but instead Nemesis has passed into mount! Damn!
Nemesis unloads with some shots from mount but Mongo bucks and avoids them well.
Nemesis misses with a head shot.
Mongo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Mongo Mongo's cut is getting worse.
Mongo wants to hold on but Nemesis pushes him away.
Mongo is working to get back to half guard.
Nemesis unloading with bombs!
Jeez, Mongo Mongo's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mongo Mongo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Zork Nemesis!
