Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Alvarez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alvarez avoids a kick to the body.
Alvarez shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Alvarez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva dips to his left and cracks Alvarez with an uppercut!
Alvarez shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Anderson Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Alvarez.

Alvarez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.
Silva tries to work over Alvarez's front leg with a kick but Alvarez checks it.
Silva throws a hook but Alvarez blocks it.
Silva scores with a nice strike.
Nice uppercut lands for Silva. That snapped Alvarez's head back.
Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Silva lands a hook to the side of the head.
Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Alvarez blocks it with crossed arms.
Silva tries a knee to the head but Alvarez blocks it.
Alvarez goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Silva pounces like a tiger and cracks Alvarez with a vicious hook! Alvarez is down but not out! Silva follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
