The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vera circles away quickly and effectively.
Price looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vera is fending him off so far but Price persists. Nope, Vera circles away and we're back to standing.
Price lands a lovely overhand right.
Price falls off balance throwing a combination

and Vera counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Vera looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Vera working over Price with some ground and pound. Price looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vera won't allow Price to get back to his feet.
Vera throws a big right hand that misses.
Vera stands up over Price, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Price had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vera defends it easily.

Vera engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Vera has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Price is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vera defends well.
Price wants to stand and escape but Vera is having none of it.

Price really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vera is staying tight to Price's torso, preventing him from escaping.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vera is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Price is trying to escape and Vera transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Price is forced to tap! Nice work there by Vera! Very nice indeed!
