Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jin Sen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Lee Rappaport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sen comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - Faint. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jin Sen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Lee Rappaport!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rappaport fails to land the takedown.
Sen lands the left hand.
Rappaport is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sen throws a nice looking combination but Rappaport bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rappaport changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sen tries to avoid it but Rappaport manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sen to the ground. Sen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jin Sen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Lee Rappaport.
Rappaport throws a hook but Sen avoids it easily.
Rappaport wants to clinch.
Sen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sen throws a series of punches but Rappaport moves out of range.
Sen misses with a head kick.
Sen looks to land a left hand but Rappaport moved out of range nicely.

Rappaport shoots in looking for a takedown but Sen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rappaport's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rappaport on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rappaport avoids the head kick by Sen.
Rappaport fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Rappaport pushes Sen up against the cage in a clinch.
Sen has a couple of punches blocked by Rappaport.
Sen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rappaport has him pressed against the cage.
Sen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sen can't find room to land a body shot as Rappaport controls the action.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sen.
Rappaport prevents a body shot from Sen.
Rappaport displaying some good clinch control by pressing Sen up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sen lands a hook that snaps the head of Rappaport backwards.

Sen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rappaport.

Sen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rappaport steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sen.

Sen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rappaport must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Sen is looking to stand up but Rappaport isn't so interested in that idea.

Rappaport prevents Sen from getting back to his feet.

Rappaport is looking to work some ground and pound but Sen has wrist control.
Rappaport trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Rappaport is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sen has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sen gets to his feet. Rappaport looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sen wants it to stay on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jin Sen dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Sen closes the distance and pushes Rappaport back into the cage.
Sen pushes Rappaport back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Sen has had enough of the clinch but Rappaport keeps him there for the moment.
Sen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rappaport has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rappaport looking for a takedown.
Rappaport trying to stall but Sen improves his position.
Rappaport is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sen to keep the fight standing.
Sen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Rappaport takes a knee to the side of the body.
Sen presses Rappaport against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sen lands a nice knee to the body.
Sen will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rappaport up against the cage.
Rappaport is breathing heavily.
A left hand lands to the body for Sen.

Sen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rappaport sprawling to the canvas! Rappaport rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sen finish him?!


Rappaport is rocked!


It looks like Johnny Lee Rappaport has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rappaport dodges the punch combination from Sen.

Rappaport is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rappaport seems to have recovered his senses.

Rappaport throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sen's waist but Sen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rappaport off to one side.
Johnny Lee Rappaport seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sen throws a nice looking combination but Rappaport bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sen throws a series of punches but Rappaport moves out of range.
Rappaport throws a shot from downtown. Sen moves away and avoids it.
Rappaport fails with the takedown.

Sen drops Rappaport with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rappaport looks back up at him and smiles so Sen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sen keeps the fight on the outside.
Sen drops Rappaport with a naaaaasty hook - Rappaport is in real trouble here! Sen dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jin Sen!
Jin Sen decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
