Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jace Beleren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Spitler!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beleren uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Spitler.
Beleren on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Beleren keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Spitler.
Spitler avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Beleren shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Spitler defends it nicely.
Spitler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Beleren closes the distance and clinches up with Spitler, looking for a takedown. Beleren pushes Spitler against the cage but Spitler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Spitler leaves Beleren with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jace Beleren. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beleren cracks Spitler with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Beleren scores a takedown into full mount!
Spitler is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spitler can do anything to dispel that myth.
Beleren throws some wild stikes that Spitler manages to avoid easily.
Spitler trying desperately to get to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beleren wants to control the pace but Spitler is squirming around nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spitler is trying to stand up.
Beleren throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Beleren is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Beleren extends the arm and Spitler is forced to tap!
