The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redondo misses with a takedown attempt
and Davis counters with a stiff right hand.
Redondo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Davis drops Redondo with a right and a left! Davis comes rushing in but Redondo regains his composure and manages to keep Davis in guard.

Redondo is rocked!

It looks like Kelvin Redondo has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Redondo is trying to keep Davis in close.
Redondo is still in real trouble! Can Davis finish him?
Davis pushes down on Redondo's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Davis trying to control the action but Redondo is working from the bottom.
Redondo seems to have recovered his senses.
Davis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Davis is thwarting Redondo's attempts to control the position.
Davis is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Redondo!

Davis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Redondo's face.

Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
