Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Burkshire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Rum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Burkshire might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It's a Fight - Three 6 Mafia. Nigel Burkshire had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nigel Burkshire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rum throws a one two combo.
Rum pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Burkshire back to the cage. Rum follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Rum throws a nice inside leg kick.
A head kick from Rum lands but Burkshire takes it in his stride.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Burkshire thows a body shot but no joy.
Burkshire swings for the body but Rum moves out of range.
Rum feints and then cracks Burkshire's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Burkshire down.
Rum scores with a leg kick.
Burkshire avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Burkshire walks into a straight right hand from Rum.
Rum misses with a body shot.
Rum scores with a one two! Burkshire had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Burkshire is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rum swings for the body but Burkshire moves out of range.
A combination from Burkshire does no damage.
Rum misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burkshire looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Burkshire throws a series of punches but Rum moves out of range.
Burkshire looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice uppercut lands for Rum. That snapped Burkshire's head back.
Burkshire tries to clinch up but Rum circles away and keeps his distance.
Rum dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Burkshire uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rum.
Burkshire shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rum pinned against the cage. Rum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Burkshire is breathing heavily.
Burkshire tries to clinch but Rum moves out of range.
Red Rum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rum cracks Burkshire with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Burkshire tries to clinch up.
Burkshire fails with the takedown
enabling Rum to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rum lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rum lands a left and a right that send Burkshire crashing to the mat, dazed. Rum thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Burkshire is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Burkshire stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rum.
Oh Burkshire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rum lands a brutal uppercut that launches Burkshire off his feet! Burkshire tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Red Rum!
Red Rum took some time post fight to say the following; 'If i lost this fight it was all over for me but i'm back bay, wooooooooooooo!'.
