The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoidberg stuffs the takedown attempt from Getcha. Getcha gets slowly back to his feet.
Getcha circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Zoidberg counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Zoidberg scores with a knee to the head.
Zoidberg is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Getcha has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zoidberg is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Zoidberg blocks an elbow strike from Getcha.
Getcha takes an elbow to the forehead.
Getcha is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Getcha is trying to push Zoidberg away but Zoidberg has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Getcha is trying to force a seperation but Zoidberg has the dominant position.

John Zoidberg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iam Getcha.

Zoidberg lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Iam Getcha has been cut.

Zoidberg lands an elbow just above Getcha 's eye.
Zoidberg lands an elbow inside that Getcha shrugs off.
Getcha has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zoidberg is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Zoidberg obliges.
Zoidberg jerks Getcha's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Getcha drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Zoidberg goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Zoidberg because Getcha was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). John Zoidberg!
