Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zhao Zhuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zhuo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kung Fu You. Lotus has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhuo just misses with a punch to the body.
Lotus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zhuo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Zhuo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lotus under the eye.
Zhuo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Lotus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zhuo moves away.

No joy there for Lotus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Zhuo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Zhuo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lotus's head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Lotus counters with a nice body shot.
Zhuo shoots in looking for a takedown but Lotus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zhuo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Zhuo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lotus is fending him off so far but Zhuo persists. Nope, Lotus circles away and we're back to standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zhuo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lotus's face.

Zhuo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lotus is trying to escape and Zhuo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lotus is forced to tap! Nice work there by Zhuo! Very nice indeed!
