Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Niska Laukaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swanson has chosen all nightmare long by metallica as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laukaus defending well as Swanson loads up on a big left hand.
Swanson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laukaus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Swanson shoots in but no luck this time.
Swanson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Laukaus.
Laukaus throws a hook but Swanson blocks it.
Swanson misses with a looping right.
Laukaus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Swanson misses with a straight left.
Laukaus tries to clinch there but Swanson circles away.
Swanson slips under a jab from Laukaus.
Swanson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Swanson scores a takedown into full mount!
Swanson misses with a head shot.
Swanson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Laukaus tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Swanson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Laukaus manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Laukaus tries to bench press Swanson off him but Swanson keeps the position.

Swanson has hold of Laukaus's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Laukaus tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Swanson cranks the arm and Laukaus screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Laukaus, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
