Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burt Hunt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugh Jass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Burt Hunt!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jass controls Hunt momentarily but Hunt frees himself.
Hunt gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Horrible takedown by Jass or perhaps it was just good defense by Hunt which made him look bad.
Hunt throws a nice looking combination but Jass bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jass clinches.
Hunt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jass closes the distance and clinches up with Hunt, looking for a takedown. Jass pushes Hunt against the cage but Hunt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No joy there for Hunt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hunt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hunt throws a series of punches but Jass moves out of range.

Jass pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hunt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jass's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jass is looking for a triangle but Hunt pushes his legs off easily.

Jass bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hunt's guard.

Hunt is trying to keep Jass in close.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hunt is on top in guard.
Hunt not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hunt stands up and waves to Jass to follow him.

Jass shoots in and bounces Hunt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jass has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hunt is trying to control the position but Jass postures up.
Jass drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hunt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jass has Hunt in his guard.

Hunt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Hunt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Despite being in the dominant position, Burt Hunt just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jass moves into the clinch.
Hunt wants to break free but Jass has control.
Hunt breaks the clinch.
Jass looks for a takedown but Hunt sprawls well.

Jass shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jass was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hunt tries to hold on but Jass pushes him away.

Jass won't let Hunt get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Hunt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jass can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hunt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hunt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hunt misses with a wild combination.
Jass doesn't manage to clinch there - Hunt circles away.
Hunt lands a left and a right that sends Jass crashing to the canvas! Hunt dives into mount looking to finish!
Jass is rocked!
It looks like Hugh Jass has been cut.
Hunt lands a nice shot to the head.
Oh Jass is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hunt lands a big elbow.
Jass really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hunt postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jass in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jass to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
