The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands a big head kick that sends Rutten tumbling to the mat! Jackson takes a step backwards and waves Rutten back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rutten is rocked!
It looks like Bas Rutten has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rutten misses with the combination.
Oh Rutten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick by Jackson - that's a beauty! Rutten is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Jackson can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Curtis Jackson!
In his post fight interview, Curtis Jackson gave a big smile as he said 'He's good, but The Headkick KO Machine was all oiled up and kicking!!'.
