Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Lobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Sotiropoulos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sotiropoulos has chosen The Humbling River as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobe misses with a straight right.
Lobe on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Sotiropoulos avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lobe lands a nice hook to Sotiropoulos's body. Sotiropoulos takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lobe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sotiropoulos's head.
Lobe throws a body punch but Sotiropoulos moves out of range.
Lobe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lobe misses with a lunging right hand
and Sotiropoulos counters with a nice body kick.
Sotiropoulos takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sotiropoulos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Lobe sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lobe is breathing heavily.
Sotiropoulos ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sotiropoulos throws out a powerful jab.

Lobe looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lobe looks to land a right hand but Sotiropoulos moved out of range.
Sotiropoulos fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sotiropoulos doesn't manage to clinch there - Lobe circles away.
Lobe throws a sloppy body shot
and Sotiropoulos counters with a nice kick to the body.
Sotiropoulos lands with a kick to the ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sotiropoulos is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sotiropoulos throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lobe.
Sotiropoulos fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lobe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sotiropoulos walks away with a smile on his face. Lobe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lobe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sotiropoulos sees it coming and avoids it easily.

George Sotiropoulos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sotiropoulos closes the distance and pushes Lobe back into the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sotiropoulos creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Sotiropoulos lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lobe backwards.

Lobe is rocked!
Sotiropoulos pushes Lobe against the cage. Sotiropoulos is working some dirty boxing. Sotiropoulos pushes off with a quick right hook! Lobe goes down! Lobe tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Sotiropoulos moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
